MEP is a mentoring program focused on college and career readiness. After 28 years of success, the Mentoring Excellence Program is in the process of shifting its focus to meet the needs of Saint Paul Public Schools' diverse population of students and to align with the district's Strong Schools Strong Communities Plan and policy for Racial Equity.
MEP encourages and supports students in:
MEP is currently offered at six high schools: Central High School, Como Park High School, Harding High School, Highland Park High School, Humboldt Secondary School and Open World Learning.
We are currently looking for adults from the community to become mentors. Learn more
New applicants are being accepted for the graduating class of 2018.
